His Childhood and Initial Days:
Hrithik Roshan was born on 10 Jan, 1974 to father Rakesh Roshan, who was already an actor and a renowned film director; he began at six. As he grew up, he assisted his dad in the production of films like Koyla and Karan Arjun. It was in 2000, when Hrithik was launched by his father Rakesh Roshan in the film “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai”, opposite newcomer Ameesha Patel. This film was a resounding success worldwide. For this movie, he won the Best Male Actor in a debut role, Filmfare award and several other awards and also entered the Limca Book of Records for being the movie to win the most of the awards in a year, the number being 102! He then went on to act in films like Mission Kashmir and Fiza, which did average business but made Hrithik, heartthrob no doubt.
Hrithik and his rise to Superstardom:
Despite the two films not doing too well, critics did not write off Hrithik and though Yaadein was a much-hyped film, it too flopped. His next Karan Johar film, sharing screen with the industry big shots like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…, was a big hit worldwide. He won much popularity for Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, Dhoom and Dhoom 2, and even Guzaarish and the most recent outing being Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
He got married to his childhood sweetheart Suzanne Khan and have two little boys now.
